Adeje
The seat of administration for the
municipality Adeje is the town of Adeje.
There are the townhall near the church
and an important culture centre. The
real pearl of the Adeje is the "Costa de
Adeje " which has grown up, into a
modern and enormous holiday centre and
has been created completely artificially
- the sandy beach, the infrastructure
and hotel and apartment arrangements.
Meanwhile, the original division of both
municipalities Adeje and Arona have
grown together on the costline and form
a harmonious unity. The political border
of both municipalities forms a so called
“Barranco” between the sports harbour
and the golf course of Playa de las
Américas.
We’d like to emphasize the
kilometer-long promenades with palm
trees along which leds from Playa de
Américas to Playa Fañabe. As well the
striking aspects of the broad streets
and Avenues which were built for cars,
but were adjusted to the needs of the
pedestrians - with green belts and
benches.
One takes care constantly to improve the
basic needs for a demanding holiday
place. Among other things attention for
neatness, peace and order will be paid
continuously.
One can rightly state that Costa Adeje
represents a modern, spacious holiday
arrangement which belongs to one of the
most favorite places in Europe.
