A foreword from the Presidente del Cabildo
The Island of Tenerife, as we all know, possesses without any doubt natural attractions which for a very long time has woken up the infinite interest of artists. To these values in many cases unrepeatable and therefore unique adding to this a very special light which contributes to the realization of the beauty of the landscape which produces our geography, from the coast to the summits of greater height.
It is quite logical that these mentioned factors converts the Island to a very popular region for enthusiastic photographers who decide to photograph these scenes in the most expressive quality. In this connection we have to emphasize and appreciate the work carried out by institutions like the “Foto Club Amigos Costa del Silencio-Tenerife”. It is obvious that the enthusiasm coming from this photo group – led by Lothar Nemitz – with its activities is taking part to promote this Island to an open house and always ready and willing to welcome our good “amigos-friends” with open arms.
